The company Techfab has just completed the acquisition of Jetcut Tools, specialized in the aerospace industry. Taking advantage of a restructuring of its operations, Techfab managed to get hold of the SME of St. Leonard, with its dozen of employees. With clients as well known as Bombardier Aerospace, Heroux-Devtek, L-3 Communications, and RTI Claro, the company had become an important subcontractor of the aerospace sector since its founding in 2000.
This acquisition will allow Techfab, which also operates in the specialiazed tooling in the aerospace industry, to further develop its services with its clients. The president of Techfab, François Cyr, explained that all Jetcut Tool employees will be retained and transferred to its facilities of Marien and Laurendeau streets, in Montreal East.
The turnover of Techfab could increase by about 30% due to this new acquisition alone.
